This document contains important safety and security information for TRIPLE-F association (“TRIPLE-F”) and employees. It presents multiple, related policies, plans, forms, and ancillary information to ensure a cohesive, thoughtful approach to the safety of TRIPLE-F staff, employees, and visitors. As such, this document addresses a wide scope of information and actions, some of which are Staff-facing, and other parts which serve as directives for TRIPLE-F staff and are not intended to be Staff-facing. This policy document seeks to lay down a foundation for TRIPLE-F as it establishes and builds upon its existing approaches to health, safety and security. The health, safety and security (HS&S) of staff are key responsibilities of TRIPLE-F. TRIPLE-F accepts a duty of care for all staff, whatever their personal profile. TRIPLE-F is committed to clear, applicable and proportionate security policy, protocols and plans. The purpose of this policy is to increase the health, safety and security awareness of all staff, to ensure procedures are clear to staff, create a culture of well-being, safety, security, and ultimately, to enable project continuity. Roles and responsibilities; For the purposes of this Safety and Security Plan, the following roles and responsibilities apply. Note that throughout this Plan, the Decision Maker is the person or persons who have the authority to determine that an emergency situation exists and launch emergency action plans. Unless otherwise indicated in this Plan, the Decision Maker remains the point of authority and directs Instructors, Staff, and Staff, as well as interfaces with external authorities.
