Ten years ago, TRIPLE-F was born, with a mission to ensure that girl and young women and their allies have access to the resources, networks, and platforms they need to power their activism and remake the world for themselves. A dynamic network of young feminist, TRIPLE-F members are students, young academics, young educators, young activists, young business, and more, all our members of 18 – 30 years of age – are those who make TRIPLE-F a unique Indonesian feminist association. In fact, 100% of our management power teams are under the age of 27 years of age, we believe that young feminists are both the present and the future of the struggle for girls and women’s rights. We promote young leaders in the women’s rights movement and our young feminist activism program cuts across all aspects of our work. At the same time, by defining young feminist activists as one of our priority areas, we contribute new analysis to current debates and ensure that young feminist activists are able to articulate their priorities and voice their concerns. TRIPLE-F are organising across movements in an intersectional way, they are creative, using activism and digital advocacy technology as core tools in their work. At the heart of everything we do is Youth Power, we are a non profit organisation that supports the collective power of young feminist leaders to create a better world. More than ever the world needs young feminist people’s power and leadership to solve its greatest challenges.  Every year we train, mentor, nurture and connect thousands of young feminist to use their power and lead change.

Our identity for 10 years, TRIPLE-F has been working in grassroots  impacted by social injustice to empower marginalised girls and young women to rebuild their lives. Through our program, young women and girls learn skills to start small action, learn about their rights to stand up for themselves and other  Young Women and Girls around them, and begin to save energy to support and improve their social, economic and political status. TRIPLE-F has a robust and transparent framework for governance and operations. Policy and procedural structures as well as reporting and risk management frameworks have been endorsed by our governing committee in this year. TRIPLE-F is delivering with cost-effectiveness, consistent with our financial policy, our budgets are submitted on an annual basis for the governing board committee’s approval.  For 10 years, TRIPLE-F has been dedicated to improving the lives of young feminist who are affected by poverty, injustice, marginalisation including criminalisation young activist, and doing it in a way that empowers them to overcome challenges on their own. Through the years, our top priorities were human rights protecting and neglected groups, such as young women and girls including non binner. Three years  later, we became an independent young feminist  lead organisation, and since then, we have vastly expanded our geographic reach, our practice areas and our impact.  After an assessment of our previous work (2015-2025) and continued engagement with the struggles and issues of our communities, we have moved toward a comprehensive theory-building and practice based on the concrete conditions of our own home territory, the Indonesia, in assessment of and full knowledge of the essence and specific characteristics of our oppression and exploitation as young women and girls including trans people youth and cultural minorities.
